Funyaks Bookings Form.
This is quite possibly the best way to explore the Dart Valley. First you travel upstream, navigating the shallow braided river by jetboat to the Funyak put-in point (1 hr 15 mins) at the Beansburn. Then you paddle gently downstream, exploring the Rockburn Chasm on the way, which is only accessible by Funyak.
This trip allows visitors to truly explore this area with the inflatable canoes allowing access to parts of the river inaccessible by jet boat.
The Rockburn Chasm is also where you have a magnificient lunch in the bush. Then it's back in the Funyaks and continue paddling downstream to near Paradise. Then it's a journey through the back country roads of Paradise, taking in Lord of the Rings locations en route
to Glenorchy. Suitable for most ages and fitness levels, no experience is required.
This is a full day trip, and the price includes lunch.

In Summary :

Things to know: Wetsuits and booties are supplied. However it pays to take swimwear or spare underwear plus a lightweight wool or thermal top for under your wetsuit and a fleece top for over it. Bring a towel if you have one, and sunglasses (year-round), plus a warm hat and gloves in winter, and a sunhat, sunscreen and insect repellent in summer.
