Family Adventures Rafting is a trip anyone can do, but still has an element of excitement and risk involved. It is a complete adventure, including a four wheel drive trip and river rafting. Rippled Earth Kayaks: The island's on Lake Wakatipu have played a significant part in this area's diverse history. They are now an important natural reserve surrounded by the breathtaking mountainous backdrop of the Southern Alp's. Paddle to the Glenorchy Islands. This safari launches from either Little Stony Creek or Lake Face Creek near Glenorchy. The short paddle across the lake will take you to a secluded beach on either Pig or Pigeon Island. |
