Glenorchy Air Booking Form.

Glenorchy Air in Queenstown:
Glenorchy Air is a family business run by Janet and Robert Rutherford. Robert grew up in the area and knows it very well. His ancestors arrived here from Scotland in the 1860s to mine for gold. They started Glenorchy Air in 1992, so they have had many years of safe operation.
They are uniquely placed to share their knowledge and love of the Queenstown area with their guests. They have the flexibility to fit in with your private charter requirements so long as safety is not compromised.
They specialise in providing the highest standard of personal, friendly service to clients who travel in groups of no more than seven per aircraft. The pilots have a love of this area and are skilled at flying in the mountains. All their aircraft are fitted with individual head sets so you are able to hear the pilot's informative commentary.
They provide Milford scenic flights from Queenstown and Glenorchy, where you can also take the cruise. They also fly to Fiordland, Mt Cook, the Glaciers, the penguin and albatross colonies of Otago's east coast and to New Line Cinemas, Lord of the Rings movies location sites in the southern part of the south Island of New Zealand. During the filming of LOR around Queenstown here in New Zealand, Glenorchy Air had the privilege of flying some of the stars and crew, either on our regular scenic flights, or to and from locations. They had the pleasure of flying Sir Ian McKellen (Gandalf),
Domonic Moynahan (Merry) Bernard Hill (Theodin) and others who played parts in the film.
Glenorchy Air offers both ground and air tours to the various location sites here in the South Island of New Zealand. These include the locations used to represent Lothlorien, Amon Hen, Nen Hithoel, Amon Lhaw, Path Galen, Ford of Bruinen, The Pillars of the King on the River Anduin, and the site of Gandalf's ride to Isengard.
Several Trilogy Trail Tours are available, but on request they can also include other location sites. Just ask them!
