Come and visit a landscape painted by nature… Ride over the rolling countryside to the dramatic foothills of the Remarkables, pass by the Kawarau River and enjoy spectacular views over the Wakatipu Basin & Queenstown.
After their comprehensive riding and safety briefing, it'll take five minutes for you to bond with your mount, before setting off on your ride through Doonholme Farm, an 800 acre deer farm. You'll enjoy seeing grazing elk and rare white fallow deer. The treks suit all levels of riders – from the beginner to the advanced, their guides will make sure you get exactly the type of ride you want, whether it's a gentle walk and an introduction to horse riding, or a more exhilarating ride for the experienced.
- Sturdy shoes and long pants are a must for this ride.
- Courtesy Coach pick-up from your Queenstown accommodation.
- Safety Helmets and Driazbone coats supplied.
